1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Email Slayer ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software (except where required by law)
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Software to violate any applicable law or regulation
3. Description of the software
Email Slayer is a desktop application that connects to your Gmail account via Google's API to provide inbox analytics and cleanup tools. All data processing happens locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
4. Google API usage
Email Slayer accesses your Gmail data through Google's official API. By using the Software, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service. You are responsible for complying with Gmail's terms of use.
Email Slayer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Your data
You retain full ownership of your data. Email Slayer does not collect, store, or transmit your email data to any external server. All data remains on your local device. You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the Software or using the in-app data management tools.
6. Email deletion and filtering
The Software includes features to move emails to Gmail's Trash and create Gmail filters. These actions are performed on your behalf at your explicit request. Emails moved to Trash are retained by Gmail for 30 days before permanent deletion.
You are solely responsible for any emails you choose to delete or filter. We recommend reviewing the sender and email count before confirming any bulk action.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developers of Email Slayer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Software.
In particular, we are not liable for:
- Emails deleted or filtered at your request through the Software
- Changes to Google's API that affect the Software's functionality
- Any interruption or failure of Gmail services
- Local data loss due to hardware failure, OS issues, or other factors outside our control
9. Updates
We may release updates to the Software from time to time. Updates may include bug fixes, new features, or security patches. You are not required to install updates, but we recommend keeping the Software up to date. Updates are included at no additional cost for the lifetime of your license.
10. Refund policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If Email Slayer does not work for you, email support@emailslayer.com within 7 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds requested after the 7-day window are at our discretion.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the Software or revoke access at any time, with or without notice.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
